Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach everything from classical trumpet lessons, Jazz trumpet lessons and pop trumpet lessons. I also teach the piano, theory and composition.
Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BMus (Hons) Degree from Trinity College of Music.
I also was awarded the 2009 winner of the “Yamaha Classic-FM Jazzwise Scholarship Award”.

What kind of experience do you have?
I have been playing the trumpet for 20 years now and have performed in venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club and The Queen Elizabeth Hall, also I have performed all over the world including Japan, New York, Italy, Vienna, Spain and Germany.
I have played with pop groups such as:
Rudimental (John Newman, Ella Eyre, Becky hill)
Nathan Sykes (the wanted)
And Jazz artists such as:
Pee Wee Ellis

Where do you teach?
I am happy to travel to pupils’ houses for the comfort of learning at home or to teach in my house in Islington.

When are you available?
I’m very flexible for teaching times, I’d be happy to arrange a regular time if you get in contact with me.
Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach all ages and all ages from complete beginner to degree level.
Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I think its good to go through the widely recognised ABRSM Grade Exams from 1-8 so I work most of my students through them. I also prepare students looking to get into a music course at university level.
Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I am a member of the Musicians Union.
Where and with whom did you train?
I had private trumpet lessons at Eton College before going the prestigious Trinity College of Music.
Whilst at Trinity I trained with the country’s best such as Steve Waterman and Chris Batchelor.
I also have had lessons with some of my favorite and worlds best trumpet players from New York such as Alex Sipaigin and Nicholas Payton.
Tell me about some of your current students.
I have most recently had one of my pupils achieve a Distinction in their ABRSM Jazz grade 4 and another pupil achieve distinction in Classical grade 5!

Do you have a personal message for students?
I am a strong believer that lessons should be fun for my pupils so I strive to find new ways to make lessons fun and enjoyable whilst being very educational.
I’m in my mid twenties, very enthusiastic and really enjoy both teaching and performing around the world.
